“I find hope in the darkest of days, and focus in the brightest. I do not judge the universe.”
-Dalai Lama-
The universe changes around us constantly. Our circumstances change constantly. WE change constantly. All is impermanence. In truth there is nothing to hold onto. When we judge our circumstances, each other, ourselves–we are judging an instant in time. An instant that has faded away before the judgment even enters our mind. The only constant in our existence is the eternal present, and even that is constantly in flux. By fully embracing this seeming paradox, one attains liberation. We no longer feel the need to judge. We see the truth and that alone fills us with hope and focus.
